oh, one more thing....how do you know what to set it to inside the unit. when this was in my old car, it has been years ago. I don't remember much about it. we are pretty sure the car has 4.10's in it that it is going into.

I see you have a 4.10 gear. what size tire do you have in the rear? What transmission do you have?

also there are 2 different Dallas mustang speed cals. standard range and extended range, I will give the codes for both after you give the rest of the info.

EDIT: if everything is stock trans and tire size (T-45 and 245/45/17)
with a 4.10 gear.
standard range speed cal code is 1001110010
Extended range speed cal code is 0010011101

I think because of the age you have the standard range
