2 shifter questions...help

1. I saw an adapter to move the shift lever back, just a plate with holes but looked like what I want to do. It was about 1 1/2" square, maybe 1/4" plate, with 4 holes to match the bolt pattern like a 4 on dice.

2. When I replaced the rubber tunnel seal on the shift lever (the one with the steel flange and 4 screws), there was another rubber weather boot on the B&M shifter itself with molded bumps for the limit bolts, held on by a wire spring clamp. B&M doesn't have anything like it, says this is a stock Ford part.

Has anyone seen or remember either of these parts?

yep i just redid my throw out bearing i had both one protecs the shifter from crap and the other protecs cab form heat its a must to have both i would check local car parts stors and then juke yards than a dealer but it shouldent be that much it is a must tho if you like a shifter hope i could help
