oh yea i forgot to update, sorry no new news because the show got rained out here. But yes i have seen under his hood and it is indeed a turbo and supercharged GT. But thats not the point, what can i look for when i see it next to prove that its a GT and not a Cobra? I could look at the door tag to try and find the correct year of the car for starters

easiest way is to look at the vin and check the 8th digit. for a 2000 mustang 4=3.8L OHV V6, X=4.6L SOHC V8, H=4.6L DOHC V8 (Cobra R). If there is any confusion beyond that you can check the 5th 6th and 7th digit to see what body code comes up. For a 2000 mustang P40=V6 Coupe, P44=V6 Convertible, P42=GT Coupe, P45= GT Convertible, P47= Coupe Cobra R

The stock eaton from an 03-04 cobe and a Garret GT-20 turbo (not sure of what the mm's would be). With all my new found info from you guys, i really cant wait to see this douch again.

I've only ever heard of the 94-95s needing the Cobra booster.

Nah, havent seen him around lately. And i have been going to all the ford/ mustang shows in the area and no sign of the guy. Go figure.

I feel like is he has the money to do a supercharged/turbo setup im sure he can afford to fake a GT to look like Cobra. IMO . make sense?
