That's one I've never seen before, cool truck no doubt! The price seems high, but it's a rare bird so who knows what it's truly worth

There are a few I have seen for sale while looking at S281's but this one is the cleanest. I doubt they will pull that kind of money unless someone really wants it. There is a motor week type video on youtube where they review one of these.

Would love one. Is the price high in comparison to others?

Me too. Yeah the price def shows. In the same town you can grab a 200,000 mi v8 explorer for 1 grand. I think Saleen only made roughly 265 of em. The first 20 were reserved to Saleen family, friends and employees. Must be nice.

Some good reading material about the XP8 here ---> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saleen_XP8

They're rare and a cool car but only for a select few. There would be very few collectors that would be looking for an Explorer.

The sad thing is people probably wouldn't even realize it's an actual Saleen, and make fun of you calling you a poser, etc for driving it. People be dumb.

This is a nice find though. It looks sweet!

Super rare, but it's an Explorer with some exterior mods. I saw one a while back f/s in Phoenix for about $6500 which I thought was a good price for a 100k mile one.

During the Fox Saleen era, Saleen had produced Ranger trucks too. There were literately a hand full made and still don't have the value of the Fox Saleens.

Cool piece of Ford/Saleen history.

blower wasn't optioned on this car so that won't add value as far as a Saleen collector goes. The seats were not originally ordered with this one either. (I looked it up in my Saleen book)
