255/45R17's

Anyone running this size on 17x8 wheels? Would like to see some pics of this size on 17x8 wheels on 99-04 cars. I am looking to get new tires soon and thinking about going from the 245/45/17's to 255/45/17's. My car is a 04 Mach 1 with stock suspension. Thanks

Not exactly what you asked for but hopefully this helps.

My 97 is factory stock. Has 275/45/17 Cobra r's on it. I like how the width of the tire is flush with the body, 245 to 255 shouldnt be too big of a difference.

255 17x8 on google images brings a lot of results, not necessarily mustang, but still shows tire bulge....

Look at ANY factory 94-95 Cobra. They came with 17x8s. And 255/45/17 tires.

I'm running 17x8 with 235/45/17 on all four. backtyres have 35mm spacers, but thats due to a wrong offset on the current wheels. (+45)
With +30 stock rims it will still be in the fenders (front about 1 inch and back about 2 inches) so not flush on a 99-04...

Picture's below are with de spacers on the back wheels. So without spacers and stock wheels the will go futher in 15mm!
