Im running 18" Saleen wheels and was thining about swapping the rears up front. My only concern is that im running a 275-35 tire and dont want any rubbing issues. I am running 1/4" spacers up front though. Should that size tire be ok up front?

Nothing should rub, even with out the spacers.

i have 275's up front with no space and they rub if u turn the wheel full lock. the rims are 17's tho but i dont think that should make a difference!

I run some 3.5" wide tires up front with no rubbing.

275s up front WILL rub at full lock. Buy some 03-04 Cobra A-arms. You'll gain a little bit more turning radius (Lord knows we need it) and those 275s won't rub at all.

Keep the wheel at full lock...rev it up & dump the clutch...when the car seems to be pointed the right way ease up & get traction & off you go! You can turn on a dime!

Most likely you will rub the swaybar at full lock. I have been running 275s in front for a little over a year no problem no damage, just a little scuffs on the sway bar. You should have no problem with them. :thumb:

My 245's rub the sway bar at full lock, I haven't got 275's for that reason. I agree with Justin up there, it turns like a 18 wheeler in tight spots.

It depends quite a lot on the specific tires you go with because some companies run narrow, others wide, others right in the middle. I had 275 Yokohama AVS-ES100's and they rubbed a bit on the sway bar, now I have 275 Toyo Proxes 4's and they don't rub anywhere. My next set of tires will be Falken 615's and I'm %100 sure they will rub the sway bar as they run a bit wide but I could really care less because there's no way in hell I would put anything less than 275 up front.

I'm about ready for new tires and I decided to get 275's for the front. I might have to add a little thicker wheel spacer though.

Im in the same boat have 275's on 18's and it rubs only when at full lock, so I just avoid that the best I can and noticed a few scuffs on the sway bar, but everything is fine.

No idea, but they rub the swaybar at full lock. I'm going to loose some more turning ability when I switch to 275's.

They are aftermarket rims but they are almost even with the outside of the fender. A friend of mine has factory 17x9 wheels and 245-45-r17 and they rub the sway bar at full lock also.
