Yea and I think the turbo will quiet it down enough.

Hopefully get it back in the car next week and have it ready to slap the carb on. Wanting to clean up the wiring a bit too while its out

I'm sure it will. How much wiring do you have to hide? There can't be too much left now.

Not much at all, I will try and get a picture of it tonight. I have mounted the msd box where the factory ecu went. That should clean a lot up. I think I am going to get a better power junction for all the gauges and switches I am running. I kind of kept adding one here and one there so it is a little bit of a mess.

I may end up just doing my own gauge cluster as well, we will see. I need an auto meter tach really and then I could build one with pretty much all the gauges I want.

Have you considered finding one of the Florida 5.0 gauge pods? That would help clean up some of it at least.

Yea, I have. But I am confident I can just build my own out of a sheet of aluminum pretty easily.

I will probably end up just getting the car running first and then mess with the gauges.

It's marked as an On3 Performance. But yes they sell the whole kit together. Pretty impressed by what is included and all the small parts that aren't left out.

Thanks. Yes I need to take my time!

To do list

-Make bracket for power steering tank
-mount oil filter
-wrap wiring and tie it in place
-mount boost controller
-route vacuum lines
-weld down pipe
-mount fans
-fill fluids
-wire up the boost gauge
-empty tank of e85
-take timing out of the ignition

This is mostly for my reference.. Start getting all the small stuff organized in my head.

That's gonna look tits once the hood is painted to match car. The intake elbow will be a nice feature for sure!!!!!

Thanks! I'm happy with how it came out for sure. Ready to get to the point of putting the fenders back on.

Got her on the ground yesterday! I started it up on the normal carb to see where it leaks. I've got a leak near the oil sending unit but other than that it went well!

I need to cut down the downpipe a little still and get the interior put back together.
