Javi, go to the corner and think about what you did! J/k I always find the best deals when I dont have the extra money. But 1600 probably the average price unless you find somthing in the classifieds

I have been looking, I only want a 302 not a 347 kit. I saw them at the ford swap here in Columbus going for like 1900 with full forged internals. Should have sold a kidney haha. I am like everyone else here just trying to find the best deals.

Speaking in relative terms, if your building a performance motor, for an obvious performance application, your going to spend the money, I would go ahead and get the best bang for the buck, and pick up a stroker kit in the process. Unless you intend to crack open your wallet on Oliver Billet Rods and Crank, it would be wiser to get as much cubes as you can, for the best price possible. I highly doubt you'd go to Olivers, considering your worried about money.

Just curious, why do you want the boss block if your going to stay with 302 CI? Are you going to boost the piss out of it or somthing?

It will have the piss boosted out of it. It not about spending money that part, it's spending it wisely I am not going to go just buy one on a whim I like to do my homework and spend as little as I have to to get what I want. As far as keeping it a 302 I have had good luck with 302s I have blown 3 stroker motors. I would rather get in my 5-500 HP car and not have to mess with anything. My kids eat up most of my time these days
