31 Spline Differentials Which one?

Absolutely nothing. I know several people around here with turbo mustangs running 500+ rwhp and 130+ mph trap speeds with that combination and no issues.

You weaken your Spider gears in the 31spline. So therefor i shall just stick with the 28 Spline Ford Unit. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with a Trac Lock rear i never did. I stated that a 31 spline trac lock has weaker spider gears. so whats the point. If you get a deal on a 03/04 carrier that has the Carbon clutch's already in it then if you want to take a chance to go used by all means go ahead. But a 28 spline with carbon clutch kit is the same one they use in the 03/04 Carrier. Just throwing out some info.

I read it but didn't think much of it. Do you have any proof of that? I've never heard of it being a problem And it wouldn't be the same cause it's still 28 spline... if the whole point of 31 spline is to be stronger, weak spider gears seems like a step backwards. Never heard of Terminators having problems with breaking rear ends, except for the wheel hop issue.
