I am seriously thinking about the Coast High Performance 351 Windsor roller block based 427 stroker, in the Pro Street version with the Edelbrock 210cc Victor Jr. heads. It will handle about 600 crank HP, so that is plenty for me. the version I am looking at is -29.8 cc reverse dome pistons for 9.43:1 comp with 64cc heads, perfect for a street car that may see a blower a couple years after the swap. I have all the engine specifics worked out, just trying to decide on what H/C/I is going into it. My goal is a generous, super flat torque curve and HP to match. Eventually, it will see a ProCharger D1SC with the intercooler. I also have the Fidanza aluminum flywheel with the removable weights, and a Harmonic balancer picked out. The engine is all worked out.
the car also has a S351 Saleen hood, so that is no problem either. it has about 1.5 or 2" of rise, plenty for a 351W swap, if I dont go crazy with the intake!!! I also run a Griggs Racing tubular K member.
My questions are, what accys will bolt up? the car currently has no AC and no Smog, but everything else is there. I found a site that lists all the stuff you need, but I would like to hear problems first hand in a 94 and up car.
Tuning is taken care of with a AFM PMS, so no worries there!!!
