I haven't seen a 3v in a sn95 ever is their not enough room to fit it? or is it just the thought if you're going to do a head swap just got with 4v heads?

I see cause I mean you can make good power with them but if its s a struggle to get them in it'd be easier to go with a 4v

The guy who did it got a whopping 300 wheel hp which is what I got with cams and intake. He also had someone install it and had to overcome the etc and other electronic issues....

I don't remember him having any issues, other than needing a different hood. His 300rwhp was also made with a bone stock engine, stock exhaust and all. He did the swap cause his 2v crapped out on him.

+1 for justifying a motor swap due to broken parts... Case in point, I needed a new oil pump in my 306 and after the dust settled I had a SVO block 410w lol

He didnt have issues but converting a throttle by cable and pretty basic obd II car to a motor with DBW and more sensors then 2 of our cars have doesnt just install wiht out a single hitch.

Yea a 3v with a tune intake and exhaust will make 300 wheel, I understand why he swapped it, still a shit motor in my opinion.

I did my swap cause my 2v spun a rod bearing.

Some people would say the same thing about a 2v. Its all opinion really.

Only took an intake and CAMS? I wonder what a 4 valve would gain with an intake and cams?

Interesting, the shop actually got it done? I forgot about that thread. How much did it end up costing (supposedly). Should have went 4 valve

I"d like to put the 3v from my 07 in my 99...with the weight savings I don't see why it wouldn't run 12.3's given a good 60'. I know the car has 12.50's in it right now but gotta work on the traction thing, not terrible considering it's a stock motor far better gas mileage than either of my 2v's.

I think the main difference in his swap versus most 4v swaps is he posted a considerable more amount of torque than a 4v would. Most 4v's won't make that much more torque than hp(if any), if I remember right he layed down about 340rwtq.

you and I both know the #'s are very very dependant on who does the pull, temp, air ect. also some people go for peak #'s and some people make crazy numbers which they should never have. I can think of a few on here like that.
