408 windsor RWHP

Just wondering what you guys are making to the wheels with your 408 windsors and what kind of heads you have.. Thanks

I know a guy here locally with a 408 and AFR 225 heads.

He makes over 500HP N/A

That is badass. Ford should have at least put 351's in so we can whoop on the lt's all day long.

I did 470 (carbureted) rwhp, with worked AFR205's and a fairly mild camshaft.

A buddy just did 435rwhp but 485ftlbs, with EFI and a VERY mild setup (car starts and idles like a dream).
It's no dyno queen, but is hysterical on the street.
It really needs a higher flowing upper intake to make power.
