i have pioneer 6x8s in the rear with the factory 460 amps and front kicker mids/high speakers running off the pioneer head unit. my problem is with speed and rpm difference my radio in the rear gets gets louder and quieter in lower speed/rpms. is this the factory amps issue or the alternator issue. its rather annoying. if it comes down to it. im going to run a 4 channel amp. anyone have inputs?

Pull out the stock POS stuff and buy a 4 channel. Even if you run your speakers directly to your head unit it will sound better.

Are you sure your Pioneer head unit doesn't have the auto volume control on?! I know my buddies Pioneer HU has that feature. Just something to check.

This is something to check into. Their newer units monitor road noise and adjust the volume. You should be able to find a manual for your radio at www.pioneerelectronics.com

Mine did this automagically from the factory...really annoying.
