Just a quick question from a Mustang newbie.

Do the seats from a Fox swap into a SN95? My wife and I hate the seats in our new to us 97 GT. We really liked the seats in the 91 LX 5.0 we had a dozen years ago and wondered if they were a direct swap?

Thanks. :coolsmiley:

I've posted the exact same question on another board before. I would still love to do this but I believe you would have to make some sort of adapter or just fab up your own seat track for them. I don't see a reason why you couldn't make them work though.

My plan was to get a set and have them reupholstered bullitt style. never got around to it though... I'd still like to do it eventually though.

When I bought my seats from an 00 the seat rails didn't fit quite right for some reason. I swapped to a Fox seat rail and they bolted directly to both the 00 seat, and to the floor. I believe that it would be a direct swap. I wouldn't suggest diving in simply on my claim though.

They will bolt right in! I have to agree with AaRoN though, the sn95 seats are much more comfortable.

Why :dunno: The Sn95 seats (IMO) are an upgrade from the crappy fox seats..

Several reasons actually... but the main couple are that my drivers seat is trashed and I am starting to look for a replacement. The other is that the head rests are so far behind my head that they are worthless. The seats on from the fox chassis had an adjustable headrest that actually did some good. I also liked the adjustable underleg support.

this is why I want a set of fox seats...

I would do without the red stripe though.
