Go ahead and grab an edelbrock manifold to be widen. Youll need to mock and engine up to bolt the manifold to and fill in the gap after you have cut the manifold in half. Adapter plates might be available eliminating the need to do the widening. Also an adapter plate for the typical upper plenum to mate to the widened carb mounting. While youre at it, mock up the stock injector rails and add material for mounting positions so that you can use stock rails
