5.4 question?

ok so i have found an f150 5.4l motor out of a 97 do these come with the pi heads or not? was thinking bout swapping to 5.4 anyway to make shure its a 5.4 to not a 4.6? just in case the guy is trying to dick me i havent seen the motor yet thanks for al the help sorry my spelling and punctuation is bad lol

No the 97's arent going going to have PI heads. PI was introduced in the 99-04 GT's and pickups. Hope this helps you out man. Sounds like an interesting project. Also if you decide to get the engine there should be a sticker on the valve cover and heads that will let you know if it is a 4.6l or a 5.4l.
