Yeah that 6.2 has some potential. As does that aluminum 5.4 reworked into a 5.8

I doubt I'd fit without major work. It's wider than the 5.4 and it's already tight clearancing with a 5.4 in mustang.

the added deck height might get you the clearance you need?

It's a possibility but I do think it'll be tight with the strut tower and I don't know how a set of headers would be able to be routed that tightly.

I'd say it'd be a new version of what can be considered a big block. Lots and lots of torque.

the fit might be reminiscent of the 428's in the 69 and 70 mustangs.

Only the heads are twice as large. I think it'd be better suited for the s197's they have a bit more clearance.

The aluminum 5.4 isnt practical due to the amout of work you need to make it work, dont forget its a dry sump setup...

cost to benefit ratio still favors an LSx swap (different strokes for different folks)

I'm not talking cost to benefit I'm talking ford 6.2. I forgot about the dry sump.

I think it'd be sick Im sure it'd fit in the s197's because I read an article where a guy put a 429 OHC engine in one and it fit like a glove.
