I just received a couple of wheels off a 2008 Mustang C/S which are 18x8.5 with +50 offset with 235 50 18 tires. I would like to put them on the rear of my 96 GT. What do I have to do to make there work with my stock setup?
Thanks

They will look like poo. You need a 2" spacer or so. Not safe. Just buy wheels that fit.

Btw, replacing the "?" with an actual title would net you more responses.

I don’t think I need a 2” maybe 1”

Try it out and post pictures here. Make sure you buy hubcentric, bolt on spacers. Your factory studs are NOT long enough to accept 1” spacers.

With a 1" spacer, they still won't be flush with the rear quarter. They need at least 1.25"
Definitely not safe without some new studs either.

I have a one inch adapter that I didn’t use on another project. It will require cutting the studs down and then using the adapter studs for the wheel. My thoughts are with the adapter the wheel will have 5mm more poke that the stock wheels and tires.
