So I bought a used 94-95 Powerdyne Supercharger, rebuilt it myself with 928 Mortorsports's performance rebuild kit. After spending a couple of hours installing it I have ran into this problem. The tensioner pulley on the right side of the car is hitting these two metal pipes. I'm not sure if I have the wrong bracket or if their was a speical kit for 94-95 Cobras and I have the GT kit.

This is where the pulley is hitting. (is it possible to have these bent and moved out of the way?)

Here is the bracket and show how the bolts wont line up and hits the pipes. :bash:

not familar with 5.0s, but what are those pipes for? if they are coolant pipes, you can relocate them (with enough effort and know-how)

did you buy the kit FOR a 94/95? or just any ol' 5.0?

They are for 94-95 Mustang just not sure if there was a Cobra option available. I've looked at other setups but on 94-95 GT's and these lines are missing. However, I've seen one photo with them there. I believe they are coolent lines, but I'm guessing I could heat them up and bang them out of the way JK. I would defiantly would have it towed to the shop to get them shifted out of the way.

I just find it odd that they don't mention it in the manual.

I don't know a ton about the 'cobra specific' stuff, but I was thinking that the 94/95 cobra got an oil cooler? If so, then those may be coolant lines going to that? My GT doesn't have anything like that, and I haven't seen those lines on any other 5.0... Do you have the installation manual for the kit? If so, does it mention anything about "deleting oil cooler" (assuming it has one and I didn't just make that part up)? My Vortech installations have "modifications" to factory components for the first few pages, perhaps Powerdyne did the same? Idk..
