I have an all stock 95 mustang GT. I remember when I first got the car I could rev it around 4500 rpms and the exhaust would make that ear shattering thunder like noise. It was beautiful! I've gone over my cats more than likely being broken down and clogged, and the exhaust no longer sounds fierce in anyway.
So I figure it's time to actually buy an h-pipe and restore that bit of gas mileage, and that glorious sound to my car.
It's stock headers, stock h-pipe, stock catback, with the mufflers cut out and replaced with trickflows.
My questions are, being that I know little of exhaust, are there h-pipes that will simply bolt in inbetween the headers and catback. What would I be looking for, suggestions, would it be worth my wild?
I also live in a county where there is no emissions testing, just state inspection (Bell County, Texas). So this shouldn't be a worry if I go catless, correct?
I'm looking for an easy install, unbolt, and bolt in. Does it require any kind of gasket inbetween?
any help is appreciated since I want to order the part as soon as I get back from NY on tuesday/wednesday.
