Hey guys,
Today while at a junkyard my friend spotted a 95 mustang gt and pulled some aftermarket tailights off and gave them to me. I have a 94 base model and when I tried hooking them up I couldn't get one if the brake lights and the reverse lights to fit/ hook in. My question is, does the 95 year have different plugs or is there a kit that usually comes with the tailights to hook them up. I would just go check but the junkyard is an hour and a half away :/
also is the 98 style tailight comparable with my 94? I can handle wiring easily just wondering if it mounts up

As far as I know all 94/95 tail lights are the same. Can you get a pic of the light socket and and the back of the tail light so we can get an idea of what you have.
Lot of people change the horiz, tail for the verticals. You just need the short harness on each light from the doner vehical.
Welcome to the site BTW.

If they are aftermarket they could be anything they want them to be. Some of the cheaper ones I think just throw in what ever is cheap.

thanks for the quick reply! i know what you mean by the aftermartket parts skipping corners. the first 94 mustang i bought had spyder halo head lights that looked like a whore to replace because you have to cut out the plastic in between the lights and the turn signals....anyway the reverse light has a small grey socket that shoots to the bulb and the aftermarket tail light sockets all match the brake lights neither the turn signal or reverse work so tomorow i will just bring the tail light into advance auto parts and geta couple sockets that work in all the holes and just splice the wires accordingly. i would go take a picture but that will have to wait till tomorow haha thanks for the welcome!
