Ok, fuse fixed it.....for now!

Next question, time for exhaust.....what flowmaster set up do I want to sound the best and make the most noise? Also H pipe or X pipe. More concerned about sound than I am performance. Plan is exhaust, 3:73 gear and then E303 cam.

So what do you guys think? BBK H-pipe and Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust?

I just posted a short video clip of my 95 gt mustang
It has flowmaster super 44 with H pipe
And b303 came with 30x Ford racing heads and a gt40 intake
The video is clear and is a real deep sound
Close to what your asking about

Thanks for sharing! Your car looks and sounds great! Could almost pass for twins with mine.

So what is the difference between the E303 and B303 cam? Your car is built almost identical to how I would like mine to be.

I would have to look the specs for you I have all Ford cam specs
I do know the E303 has a bit more thump to it requires more upgrades
The B303 is easy to tune without a lot of upgrades
I will look for the specs that way you can see the difference
Looking forward to checking out your ride

NOTE :

Camshaft intake and exhaust valve events are measured at 0.050" tappet lift. The

duration figures in the shaded area are taken at 0.050" tappet lift. This is useful to check

the cam with a degree wheel during installation. The solid color is advertised duration. For

comparison purposes, add intake and exhaust lobe centers and divide by 2 to calculate

“camshaft lobe separation” specification for Ford Racing camshafts.

NOTES :

➀ On EFI engines, performance camshafts work only with mass air induction


systems. Will not work with Explorer EEC-V EFI.

➁ Also fits 1994-1997 351W with factory roller cam when used with mass air EFI.

➂ Stock 5.0L HO cam advertised specs are 266°/266° duration, 0.444"/0.444" lift.

➃ May require piston modification for piston-to-valve clearance. Valve clearance


should be checked.

➄ May require longer push rods.

➅ Hi-Stall torque converter recommended for automatic trans.

➆ Emissions legal with 5-speed manual trans. E.O. #D-225-16.

➇ Great for superchargers. Manual transmission recommended.

➈ Good torque and power up to 6200 rpm. Manual transmission recommended.

➉ Good torque and power up to 6500 rpm. Manual transmission recommened.

Thanks a ton for the cam specs. Torn between the E and B series cams.....we will see..

Been a while since I posted. Been crazy busy with post harvest fertilizer applications. Had a rain last weekend so Devin and I put the BBK off road H pipe and Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust system on. Devin was a huge help and learned a lot.

The whole plan with this project was for he and I to bond, him to learn and incentive for him to stay out of trouble and keep his grades up and if he holds up his end of the deal when he turns 16 it’s his car. So far so good.....he made honor roll the first quarter of 4th grade and missed high honor roll by .48% in reading. Not too shabby.....dads happy anyway...

Oh yeah, there may be an ulterior motive for dad to have something to beat on till he turns 16......but that’s our secret.

We decided on personalized plates and I let Devin pic what they said. He is a wrestler and he is part of an elite group of little bad asses in east central Illinois called “STORM”. Since the car is the same color as his team colors he chose “94 STORM” as is first pic. The plates came yesterday and to our dismay they came as our second pick....94 DRE.....Devin and I share the same initials so it’s all good!

Another 3” of rain today so no field work tomorrow, weather permitting we are all going as a family to the Urbana Firefighters car show and trunk-or-treat event for some fall fun.

I also got new headlights, corner lights, brake pedal and clutch pedal pads along with a new grill emblem. They all still need installed.
