Personally, I’ve always thought the Cobra R was the best looking hood on the Sn95. I’ve got a 3 inch one on my 95 gt

Probably the Cobra hood for me. I considered one for a number of years, but decided to keep the car Stock-looking instead. Without the curve of the hard top, I thing the R looks a little *off." with inky a 2" cowl, though it might look OK. Do you have pics of it on a 'vert?

if you have a Cobra front bumper I would do the Cobra hood. If it's a GT front bumper I would do the cowl.

Funny, sometimes just the color of the car makes or breaks the look of the Cobra R hood too.

Only works on a 95 white mustang?

There are also several versions of the Cobra R that may alter the belief of what the car should look like. This is an old sig pic of mine which shows not only what it looks like with the top down, but with what was known as a Cobra RR hood. It’s an extra inch taller than the regular. I recall they also made one where the top level was even 3 inches!

I ended up with this hood because I desperately needed something, and at the time, all the local mustang shops were out. The company I bought this from, no longer in business, carried regular Cobra Rs, but they were extremely warped.

"An old sig pic of mine" When in reality it's your current signature picture lmao!

Problem is, you can’t see signatures on mobile, (who uses desktop these days?) so I just assumed it was long gone. And it IS “an old sig” as that one was created about 10-15 years ago. I’m going to lean towards 10 though because I moved away from that place in 2011, and I think I replaced that hood with the real deal in 2010, though it might’ve been 09.

Ah simplier times! I know mustang forums were a lot more fun back then, at least.

Looks sleeker too, with the top down. Like a longer look with the Cobra R hood.

I think the speedster covers help a lot with the look, and none of these photos show what the car looks like topless, with a direct side view, as TrickVert said...

It’s winter, so I technically don’t really want to, but later today I will see if I can get some good side shots of my car topless, without the covers. That should prove/disprove any “off” looks.
