My build is pretty much done. Here is a picture progress follow along. I purchased the car 4 years ago in NC. It was bone stock and had been dealer maintained its entire life. It has leather, mach 460, and an AODE.
-First thing to be changed with no pictures of course was the intake, I dropped in a K&N into the factory box and swapped to an explorer intake. I also at that time changed all the fluids in the car, trans filter, new brakes, etc.
-Next was to change from the 16" GT rims to a set of 98 GT split spoke 17" I picked up for $50 with tires from a friend. I also picked up a SLP catback and installed it as well.

Next on the list was an off road H pipe. After that I enjoyed the car for a couple years before doing anything else.

Fast forward to 2010. I got called up for my 3rd tour to Afghanistan so the car got put back into storage at my great uncles farm. Just before taking it there I got a good deal on a SVO Motorsports upper intake and installed it.
Once back set aside 3k to do work to the car. First off was heading out to the barn and getting it running to make sure nothing had failed over the last year.

After putting a few miles on it the fun began.

New engines combo is.
GT40 heads, GT40 lower intake, SVO motorsport upper intake, FMS F cam, trickflow spring kit, flowtech headers, smog delete, egr delete, etc. VIDEO Below

Next on my list was rims, I found a set of 03 cobra rims. 17x10.5 in back and 17x9 up front with Nitto 555 tires. 315/35/17 back, 275/40/17 front.

Things started to really roll along now, I had some money left over and found a great deal on a Kenne Bell supercharger, showed up to buy it and got a PMAS 92mm maf, WMS ceramic coated CAI, filter, FMU, 70mm tbody, extra 10lb pulley and literally everything else a guy could want. I swapped the KB intake elbow for my Trickflow elbow that was much larger internally for a little extra flow.

After that I decided to get a tuner, so on went a quarterhorse

After that I decided to up my injectors and crank the boost, there are no meaningful pictures but I dropped in a set of 03 cobra 39.5 lb injectors, angled them so the spray patterns would be somewhat beneficial instead of spraying the port walls. I also put on the 10 lb pulley in place of the 8lb pulley. At this point the police were harassing me about the cars exhaust so out went the resonators and I had a set of dynomax super turbo mufflers welded up, keeping the rest of the slp catback(I like the tails). Also a set of smoked cobra headlights from LMR were installed.

That brings us to the present. Next up will be a set of Eibach lowering springs and cc plates. I also have had a T5 swap sitting around for the last couple years but its nice to keep the Auto and control it with the Quarterhorse.

Triple black convertible with 03 cobra rims? You must be my long lost twin.
Do you have any numbers with the KB setup?

And i think you made a typo. You put that you have 315's in the front...?

No numbers with the KB yet. I want to get a dyno tune this summer just to see how it does. This car is more of a nice day cruiser for me. I use the SVO for drag strip and Auto X stuff.

My only regret is using my vintage 2002, 3 megapixel camera for all of the pictures. One day I will upgrade to something a little better, but probably after this one stops working.

A little update. Today I did a pulley upgrade, the KB is pushing 10lbs of boost now. There is a noticeable power improvement. Did not even think to take pictures.

Got some new springs installed last night. First time doing a spring install, was not as bad as originally anticipated. I will get some new pictures up today after I get the car out and about. Here are a few updated photos from before the install just for comparison after I get the new ones up.

I wish I had a better camera. 3/4 of the photos I took were fuzzy when I downloaded them to the PC. So these are the ones that were left over and not really the best shots I had.

Looks like headgaskets are in my future, lol. I blew a headgasket halfway down the quarter tonight at midnight mania. I have been procrastinating the install of ARP head studs that have been on a shelf in my garage for a year now anyway.

Headgasket change has been finished for a few weeks with a decent break in period and retorque. I dropped my boost back down to 8lbs and tonight installed a Devils Own meth injection kit. I was able with finesse to fit it all on the bumper support in front of the ac condenser. With the radiator cover on it is completely stealth. I also wired in a low fluid light and light for when it is running.

Oh yea, ran a 13@104 with a 2.0 60' at midnight mania, all my runs were full weight including the spare, I blew around the 1/8th mile mark and cruised through the traps. I figure it is easy 12's on my next trip. I was having serious traction issues, my first run was in the 15's spinning half the track, lol. 2.8 60 ft :)

Went back to the 8lb pulley for street duty. I decided to see what boost was like full throttle and watched the gauge, boost was hitting close to 15lbs with the 10lb pulley so that had to go. With the 8lb pulley I am seeing around 11lbs. Its much more streetable this way.
