I built a 302 using the Performer RPM intake with a 600 cfm edelbrock carb. I liked the intake and carb. Very easy to set-up and get going. I match ported the heads to the intake and everything came out nice. But, I dont have any experience with the Victor JR. piece.

depends on what youre trying to do with the motor, edelbrock doesnt make anything bad, edelbrocks rpm series of parts are more for a street car with a good powered motor livin in a decent rpm range, if your looking to build somethng thats going to be more for racing and in the higher rpm range than the victor intake would be a better choice, the heads would still work fine and better if ported
