??? 94GT BAD O2 Sensor's ???

Im really acting like a newb this month :angry7:


Long story short out of know were while driving the car has started to run like shit almost like it has a miss...

I replaced the Plugs Wires Cap and Rotor. So the only thing left that has not been changed is the actual distributor itself and the coil.

With that said the cars still running like crap and with talking about my problems with another owner of a 94Gt he told me he had a similar problem but his 02 sensors were to blame.The car revs and don't really brake up like a miss more or less just feels like a pig with lack of power. Hell it won't turn the tires if you power brake it.

I had the 02 Sensors open to the elements so to speak zip tied to the cross brace on the k member to keep them off the ground and out of the way. they sat like this for 5 Months most of the time in the shop til i towed it home but then sat in the driveway untill I got the new H Pipe and headers and i installed them and fired it up. On top of them being exposed i would not be surprise if they got oil in them from the leaking rear main. With the 5th or 6th lap around the block it out of no where started running like shit and lost power. Im trying to trouble shoot this because i have to start driving the car everyday this comming friday :BangHead:

Is there a chance that me leaving them exposed for so long with everything else listed, have made them take a crap on me. Ive never had 02 problems before so trying to trouble shoot it myself is leaving me scratching my head.

sounds like the o2s to me. also check/clean up your engine ground.

Well i went to my buddys shop, Checked the codes one for Purdge canny one for egr both are gone and the next was for the 02's so i endded up getting a great discount from a local shop and got both 02's for $50 bucks out the door i installed them and the car seemend to run alot better but still had the miss. so i got the books out to check fireing order. For some reason the Chiltons book vs the haynes book i have the fireing orders are different. Although that was not the problem my dumb ass had cylinder 2 and 4 crossed at the cap. Idk if it was me or my buddy that did it cuz he was helping out while i was cutting the wires to fit. So its a honest mistake and the car runs awsome now.

Was able to something similar to Prokiller's signature :)

Engine ground it new with new ends and the cars running better then it did when i bought it which is good cuz its a daily driver now :)
