Everyone, thank you very much for all your comments. I am getting far better responses then I expected. I do have a question for everyone and anyone. I would love to do the springs sooner then later, my concern is rubbing and the control arms. I have heard a few people mention that when lowering a car running wide tires, that the quads should be/need to be removed. Well when removing the quads that puts more strain on the control arms. I still have factory arms. Your thoughts?????

I've seen people either remove the quad shocks or just flip them around. If you do lower control arms as well, you can lose those quad shocks. But for now, when you drop it, just flip them. You should be ok. Just make sure your rear tires don't rub on the inside of the rear fenders. Then your gonna have to get them rolled so they don't chop up on your tires.

Pretty good, typical burger and custard joint. What made it nice was it gave me a chance to relive a bit of my old mans past and his car cruising days.

Ive heard about flipping them, heard about rolling the fenders. Has anyone got away without rolling fenders?

i would think that since you already have the wide tires that if you clear your quad shocks right now then you will be fine. but what do i know? lol

Thats funny that you can look at a box and tel where its from!!!!! lmao. I actually made a few posts on your topic regarding the kit, i think back in jan feb, right before I bought mine. Needed some things answered before I dropped that much change. I do want to know what you did for maf/injectors/pump when you first installed it. We need to talk about it. Hit me up

So its been some time since I posted on here. Thought I would do a bit of an update....

The car has been sitting in the garage for awhile. Thats really an understatment, its been about a year and a half. Did a few things to it, but nothing crazy. The last project that I posted about was wheel and tire install. Since then I made the leap and installed lowering springs.....
