My 95 cobra is hard to crank. I have replaced both the tfi and distributor and spark plugs. Fuel pump primes properly every time key is turned. So, should I suspect fuel filter or ignition switch?

Can you be more specific on being hard to crank. Like does it take a while for it to turn over? Slow to turn over?

You can check the starter solenoid too and the battery to rule those out.

Everything you changed wouldn't effect cranking speed of the engine but if the timing is to far retarded it will be hard to crank over

Battery is new, it takes a few tries to crank. Musturd- I believe the timing is stock since the rest of the car is stock. But, I am not sure.

Have you tried to cycle the key on and off a few times to rule out low fuel pressure? It could be a few things.

It just turns over and over. Then it finally hits and will start. I am going to get a new fuel filter and probably new pump soon after Christmas. That should fix it, in my opinion.
