Let me just get this out of the way, I'm an 18 year old who just graduated high school. My dad gave me this car when I turned 16 and I've tried to treat it how it deserves to be treated, even though I did manage to get into an accident on a rainy day with a wooden post (I considered it a learning experience between ford mustangs and wet roads). This is, obviously, my first mustang. I don't know that much about mustangs, but i try to take in every bit of knowledge my dad instills in me and I hope to become one of those guru-types like some of the members here. I'm actually trying to do this swap myself (and the help of my younger neighbor), so I'm kind of figuring everything out as I go. I'm not completely new to cars though, i'm restoring a 69 Camaro (been put on hold since the mustang broke, it's my DD) and i've taken that car apart and put it back together. I've just never been inside a transmission or anything. Might see the camaro in the background of some pictures. :) I'll be sure to make the most out of any advice or experience you guys can provide to help! This car has been in my family since it was new so every mod that's on it has been done by my dad or myself.

stuff that is different than stock:

Eibach prosport springs (these lowered it, don't know how much. probably like 2"?)
edelbrock and energy suspension shocks
Don't know what kind of wheels those are, bullitts or something? i'd like to know if anyone does know.
255/45/17 sumitomo tires all around
clear corners
polyurethane bushings and engine mounts
flowmaster american thunder catback
some kind of aftermarket seat covers that are blue, but not sapphire blue :p
painted the bezel thing around the radio and a/c controls sapphire blue

and now what I've done so far!

first, took that midpipe out!

which was a pain because I stripped a bolt and i ruined the flange thing ):

then took the driveshaft out.

Took out the drivers seat and got the pedal assembly out, it was a tight squeeze around the steering column so i'll have to figure something out with the assembly including the clutch
heres a picture of my neighbor trying to figure out how to get the computer out:

also the young neighbor got the shifter and center console out yay

is there an easy way to get this out?

went out to try and install the new pedals tonight, but right before i started I noticed it was broken ._.

should I bother returning this and getting a new one? The adjustment thing on it doesn't work anyway, it doesn't grip hard enough and breaks loose, i was thinking it would be worth it to just get a new one like this from american muscle

any cheaper alternatives to this?

also I'm looking for suggestions on how to make a better project thread, any tips or advice is welcome!

great work! rare combo too, sapphire blue and white top. What happened to the white interior?

came stock with black interior cloth seats, my dad was the original owner.

sold the car to a coworker about a month ago with 238,000 on the odo! still original engine never been inside it.

oh jeez i bumped a dead thread sorry
