95 GT Sunroof motor

[Ethan95 5.0]

I have a sunroof in my 95 GT and this is the motor for it. The company that makes these went out of business in 1998. The motor is going bad and I need a new one any suggestions?

Where you located? I may have one but if I do it’s been on a shelf for 19 years, I’d have to test it.

Take the motor to a electrical motor repair shop
They will rebuild that motor

Any thing electrical motor driven

it probably just needs some new brushes. They are normally not that hard to get to behind where the wires go into the motor. Since it is already broken see if there is some way that the plastic plug that goes into the motor has a way of being worked out(looks like possibly a retaining clip on top?). If so you will probably find a small spring attached to a little piece of metal that is partially round on one side and that is the brush that needs to be replaced.
