So I recently inherited a 1995 stage 3 Roush Mustang and really can not find a lot of information about the vehicle online, from what I have found its very rare(maybe only 18 made??) I am looking to sell the vehicle but have no idea what to ask. It is #11 and was the actual car Roush used for a Car and Driver magizine arcticle. It has 17k original miles, interior and exterior in excellent condition, has Wilwood big brake kit, complete tool kit with roush engraved tools and special edition coin still intact. Here are a few photos:

So was going through all paper work that came with car, I found original sales receipt from Ford dealer it was purchased from in 1997 it had 13k miles at the time, they had an appraisal sheet with it from Roush Racing that valued car at 35-37k. So now the question is 20 years later and 4k more miles on car would that value stay the same, go down, or go up??

Yes you have a winner there! It is worth more than you might think...may have to wait for the right knowledgeable buyer but be patient.. Contact Matt Heyde on the facebook page....he is the resident expert. Do NOT just dump it unless it is to me! Nice piece of History! All those unique Roush pieces are extremely rare & valuable!

With all the documentation that is an instant show car winner! Super high interest car ...I love it.

It needs some work but proud to be the one to do it. Car deserves it.

You’ve been here for over 6 years, posted less than 100 times, and out of nowhere pop up with this new purchase?!?!?!?

I totally approve!!!!!!

Now start a build thread and start posting more often!!!!!!!! Lol

I don’t see a big sexy pair of turbos under the hood!!! I don’t see a big fancy stereo system to match the performance!!

There’s always room for improvement!!!! Lol

But I’m all seriousness, I’d find it hard to mess with something that limited too.

Thanks for the comments lol

The car has minor track oriented mods which I will leave on for the time being as I see them part of the car's history. The car has tons of documentation: Ford dealer invoice, loan paperwork (at 10.5%) including payoff, roush racing registration and insurance cards, roush letters of authenticity, plaque, etc. My plan is to get it into top running and looking condition by November so that Jack Roush can sign it during the Ford Ecoboost 400. They do a car show and Jack comes every year.

Next steps for the next couple of months are: tires, full fluid changes, brake maintenance, a/c compressor, PDR, paint correction, and of course a surging idle ;). Need to do more research on the intake system as I don't want to mess anything up. I already ordered the missing center caps and cleaned all the interior. I just wish I had more time. PDR is next... hopefully this week.

This car is so cool and is in good hands.

Will post back once she is a little more presentable.

The Roush rear tire size is uncommon (295/35-18). I tried to find some BFG tires as those were used for delivery but had no luck. Due to supply issues back in the late 90's, Roush had also sourced Toyo tires for delivery. So, in the spirit of trying to stay as period correct as possible, my new set of Toyos arrives tomorrow. I guess i'll create a new thread.

Verdstein also makes that tire size. That’s what I’m running on my 18x10’s
