The swap went well and now I am trying to figure out some leftover issues. I bought a SpeedCal from Dallas Mustang and attempted to put that on today. I have read several posts that sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. I was at the shop today getting 4.10's installed and I told my mechanic I had the SC to install as well. While he was finishing the gears another tech and I installed the SC per the instructions. I took it for a ride and the speedo instantly shot up to 150 or something crazy like that, came back to the shop and adjusted the pins and got it back in semi normal range but still 10-15 mph off, using the dyno to calibrate with...any ideas? I had T-45 with 2.73's before swap and now have TR3650 with 4.10's. Has anyone else done this?

Next, while on the dyno, the car didn't want to start, as if the PATS was activated? We shut PATS off when I first brought the car to the shop for its initial tune. I can just turn the key and nothing, the clock goes out completely but all of the other lights and everything else are fine.So I figured maybe the tune dropped out for some reason while we had the battery disconnected and reloaded the tune, still same thing. We push started it to get it running and it was fine. Drove home turned it off and same thing, nothing... :BangHead:

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. New battery was installed when I completed the swap a few weeks ago.

check the connections at the starter, also check the ground on the block. I had the same problem with my 4v swap not wanting to start, turned out it was a bad ground on the block. It didn't look bad, but i unbolted it and moved it and she started right up.

If the clock is going out it's not PATS related, as already mentioned check the grounds on the block as well as your battery terminals

Thanks guys, checked both grounds, they seemed good. Checked battery, was at 12.XXX. We push started the car and it fired right up, I let it run a bit to charge the system, battery was at 13.98 running. We are thinking its the starter and will remove and test tomorrow night. Fun times... :BangHead:

There is a white wire with a red stripe on it that runs near your battery. It goes to the starter solenoid. You should be able to unplug it near your battery and, with a small piece of wire, jump from the positive battery terminal into the plug. If your starter and battery are fine, it should crank. This is how I tested mine with the starter still on the car.
