96 MAF on a 94 351w???

Hi every one. I was looking over the aftermarket parts list for my car and saw something odd. The previous owner put a 96 MAF and 30# injectors on the 351w in my 94 gt. I'm going to install a vortech T-trim with 60# injectors. I know I'll need a callabrated MAF for them, but is this ok to do. I would also think I would need a MAF for 96-98? Or should I rewire it back for the 94-95 MAF?
