98 cobra surging and stalling

Okay so after driving my car around for a while and it warms up. If i come to a stoplight, it starts to surge and then sometimes it will stall. It starts right back up with no noticeable powerloss. Its getting to the point were im scared to come to a stoplight after the cars warmed up lol

Might want to try SVTP for this one. More Cobra people on their. At first I thought IAC but than you mentioned running rich so I'm not sure.

changing the idle air control, i think that might be it

Is your speedometer working when the car stalls? Mine had did that a few times after I bought it and it turned out that the VSS plugin wasn't completely plugged in.

could be a vacuum leak also.

If its running rich as well as surging try cleaning the maf sensor. Its easy to do, and is a likely cause. Although it could be many things.
