98' GT Mach 460 No Bass At All!!

I was driving home and not but 2mi from my house the bass just completely stopped from all speakers. I have the factory headunit and speakers. I did pop the trunk and the passenger amp was hot but the driver side was just warm

start simple and go through the fuse box and make sure they are all good. Don't forget the box by the battery as well. Don't bother with the manual it will take less time and be more effective to literally pull and check each one, take my word for it. If they are all good reach up by the amp and make sure all the hrns's are still connected.

Checked the fuses all were good... I believe I fried my amps..

When I left for work today my speakers were all working fine. Could it be the amp just got hot? If so why?

The little amp went in my Lincoln before, I don't see why thats not plausible. Instead of getting the crappy factory amp I just hooked up a nice Memphis sub amp to the rear deck speakers and they sound soooo much better.

Hmm I may do this, and as no surprise when I got home from work (5min drive) I went back out to my car and no bass again, wtf?

To be honest it had no base when I drove it home from the Dealership

I pulled the Mach460 the first week I had it.

IMO I like the Mach 460 system, the bass is pretty good and clear. Alot better than the standard stereo system that came in the Sn95's my 96' GT didn't have the Mach 460 and the speakers SUCKED. I mean yeah I plan on investing in a system later down the road but for now the bass is plentiful
