Still quite a work to be done of course. I actually like this car more than the Cobra. The Cobra makes 751 rw on low boost, and has a very healthy (just rebuilt billet rodded stroker) motor. However, the suspension, interior, etc. is really tired from 60,000 miles of racing my ass off.
I don't like driving it because it rattles and shit. The GT has been a pet project for years. I feel like its more affordable to play with and easier to work on. Not to mention, 375 reliable rwhp is just fine in this light of a car.
When I get my real job in Dallas next year, I'll do the same stuff to the Cobra. I hate to say it, but if I screw up a job that would hurt the motor or something, I'd much rather hurt the 130,000 stock shortblock. lol. So it's also a learning experience.
As far as the headlights go, I want a set of cobra headlights. Not going to do clear corners or anything like that. Also, want a Cobra bumper and some side exhaust. I'm shamelessly trying to rip off riosnake's ride with a couple tweaks.
