Well went to the Cedar Falls track with a few buddies, Was expecting to get into the 15's but didn't...Trip should have taken us 4 hours but it only took us 3 hours with two pit stops. One was to pickup a buddy on the way. the second was because some how my oil cap fell off and I lost 1/2 qt. of oil all over the engine bay, and the drivers side and rear of the car. Luckily we all brought walkie talkies to keep in contact with each other and they commented that i was smoking a tiny bit. Pulled over and cleaned her off and luckily the cap was still in the engine bay. Ugh. Any ways car did good on the way there and did good there. With I could have broke the 15 mark barrier but oh well
My time was
Rt. .205
60' 2.292
330' 6.774
1/8. 10.528
MPH. 65.12
1000. 13.735
1/4 16.42
MPH. 83.21

That is with h&r ss springs tokico shocks, 8.8 with 3.08 gears auto with shift kit, sct chip on 91 oct., bbk 56 mm tb, bbk cai, divorced duals and cleared out the trunk area. As well i had pirelli p7000 run flats knocked down to 25 psi. i was still looking traction when the car would shift into 2nd.

Your car is a sixxer correct? Times aren't horrible. Maybe a sticky tire and a better 60' time and you could break into the 15s.

Dont run low air psi in street tires. Itll slow you down. They dont balloon like drag slicks do. run ~32-35 psi.

I have to get better tires too. When the car would shift into 2nd it would chirp a but but when I did it manually I got a tiny bit faster time but when it got into 2nd with me shifting it the tires would spin for a second. I'm not telling tall tales either.

With my 1996 V6 5 speed, my best run was 15.76 1/4, 10.0s 1/8 with only a CAI, Underdrive pullies, 3.73s with a Traction Loc, and a MAC Dual Exhaust Catback that used a Y-pipe to mate up to the factory Y-pipe (so the car his a single exhuast still for about 18 inches).
Everything else on the car was stock. No Tune, Thottle body, coil pack, etc.

I ran a ZEX dry 55hp shot through it and went 9.6 1/8th, 14.96 1/4

Congrats on getting out there. Times aren't terrible for your car. Gears will pick you up about 4/10 to half a second.

In front of you
the important part is you had fun, well now that thats out of the way i really dont know were v6 stangs are supposed to run although the 60 is pretty bad even on street tires. i didnt know traction was such an issue on a high 15 sec car. are you just mashing the throttle on green?

P.S @bluebeastsrt jeez man change that font i go into epileptic shock when i see it lol

I didn't think it would be but with my shift for the auto it would slam into 2nd gear and it surprised me that I lost traction. Also discovering 40psi in a set of run flats werent helping either
