A/C clogged: Where to find expansion valve @ 94 GT ?

My A/C is freshly filled with R134 and the A/C clutch switch renewed.
Now my A/C is switching short term on but not cooling.
When shorting the clutch switch, the clutch wheels the compressor nicely.
BUT: Cooling isn't working and low pressure side is going to 0 pressure indicating that no R134 is coming through the condensor.
I assume that the expansion valve ist clocked but I'm not sure where to find it.
Could someone share a picture or decription on where to find it?

There is a tube between accumulator and condenser
There is an orifice in that tube that controls that filters and regulats

Did you install everything? The oriface tube is either clogged or installed incorrectly.

Can I replace this Filter/expansion valve from the engine compartment side easily?
Or is there anything to consider other than evacuating the R134?

yes, system worked after filling for a short while when bridging the a/c clutch switch but now pressure turns down very fast on the low pressure side when clutch is activated what looks to me like a clogging somewhere in the expansion valve

First you will need to have the system evacuated
Then you'll need spring lock tools for the lines
Then you will need a tool to pull the orfic out from the tube
Flush the system install the new one
Vac the the system leak down test
Then reinstall freon

You could do it yourself but the AC machines are nice and handy

FWIW
The orfice is crimped in, you will need to replace the high press line. I know this work is expensive,, BUT if you don't understand what you are dealing with. you will save time and $$ paying to have it done.
Having said that it is simple if you understand and have the equipment. there is a LOT more to this than changing parts.

I deal with 94 and earlier . they are not removable that I have ever seen. I cut the old hoses and rebuild to re-rout and custom build the high press hose ( for custom engine combos). ALL the hoses I use are aftermarket replacements ,,you can NO WAY remove the orfice . in any case the advice I gave earlier I stand by.
I do AC work regularly,, often fixing the crap people do...Just life. BUT that being said, If you know what you are talking about . Hell keep writing.

I too have pulled orfice tubes,,,,,BUT not on the early stangs.

i quit close to mid 95 right when these cars were barely getting more attention
i did do a few they were a pain in the ass we had another tool to help widen the crimp as your calling it
there were some ribbed for the o rings some were compressed around orifice
i just depended on factory where ever part was coming from none of the other shop techs wanted to do that , it was money to me
