How many of you just trown your hood or bumper on the car with out painting them first? Like you can see my hood is green and I am not really worried about getting it painted soon.. My think is I have a Cobra bumper that is black and I want to get it painted but I want to use the money on some go fast parts.. Would yall put the bumper on oor wait?

Anyway post pics of your car if you daily drive it with diff color body parts till you got them painted..

I'd say put it on and screw everyone else if you don't mind it. As for myself, I usually don't put anything on until it's color matched and blended. I'll just wait until I could get it painted.

What you could do also is prep everything yourself and then bring it to a painter or even Maaco to shoot. Ask them to put a thick clear coat and wet sand it yourself. You will save a ton of money.

I am going to put all of my parts on (bumper, side skirts, trunk, and spoiler) without being painted first. Cant afford it but need them on to drive around.. One vote for sayin f... it and throw that biatch on.

I say wait...no reason to drive around with a mismatched bumper when you have a perfectly fine painted GT bumper. Just wait til you get it painted then throw it on.

I could understand putting it on unpainted if you had to other choice...like you wrecked it or something.

I put my hood on and drove it a few times but it did look pretty weird, i'd wait til you got it painted to install it but definitely test fit it before the paint.
