Hey everyone, I think I'm about to buy some authentic mint '03 10th Anny Cobra wheels. Anywho, I need an idea of a size that I need to run. The wheels come with ( 2 ) tires which I think are a 275/40R17 or what ever the stock '03 Cobra tire size is. I'm looking for 2 front tires in about a 255 width, any idea as to what complete tire size I should run in the front? Also, does anyone have any pictures of a black sn95 with these wheels? Thanks!

I had 03 Cobra replicas from American Muscle & loved them! Not sure why you need your fronts & rear tires to be diff size, though! I had 275/40-17 on each rim.

Give me a sec to find ya some pics!! Be right back, I hope!!

Yeah, that nugget of info might have been helpful! I'll re-look tomorrow for ya. I leave key info out all the time! Good for me to see it's not just me. See ya!

My buddy has a 10th Ann 03 Cobra! He loves the FR500 rims! He's fixing to buy back his original rims, says he will just have them for the track. He needs to put these back on his, I think. I think I've seen @ least 1 black Stang with them. See ya tom!!

There's a pic of a black one with those rims, it looked sick. Why don't you just want to run 275/40 all around? If you must have 255s in the front I'd suggest 255/40's I'd probably run 275/40s up front and squeeze some 315/35 Nitto DRs on the rear.

Totally forgot I was going to search for you!! Hang on.

Uh, authentic means in the Charcoal finish, correct?

Just thought of something, it was not in a thread of a lot of member's rides. It was like just a normal post, I think. The car was parked in the middle of a hwy, or like by a bridge/building, maybe.

I got them installed, the car looks tons better! Gotta party to go to now, but I will get some pictures tomorrow when it's cleaned and all. But needs a drop baddddd!

While we're on the subject, who makes a decent drop for our cars? I don't want to slam it, but I only want a slight drop for the tires to just look "right" on the car. And what's the going rate for a set of springs?

I have the Pro-Kits on mine. I love everything about them!! Sure, it rides rougher. I know the pluses far outweigh that minus! It drops it just enough to know something was done to it. Even now, I have to take stuff @ serious angles or it will rub. I do & no probs. Just had to learn to drive differently. Corners great!

You big tease!!

For a just enough drop Steeda gets my vote, good handling with them as well. Second would be Ford Racing B springs.

The only reason why I have the Eibach is I was living in Moore, OK right then. There was a 96-98 GT coupe there with an Eibach Pro-Kits sticker on it in the apt complex. I never saw the driver, was very new to the Mustang world. I had to look online to see even what that was. I just liked the way it looked. The next weekend, I had bought it!
