ABS LIGHT HELP!!!

ok my abs light keeps coming on at random times.when i start the car it doesnt come on, but it always comes on when i turn on the headlights on the abs light comes on.

Did you scan it? Could be electrical, could be your abs sensor going etc.

Scan it and see what comes up.

i think it the one with the battery being under a certain voltage ( i forgot to say i have HID's too both headlights and foglights) when i turn the headlights slow it doesnt come on but when i pull it straight out the light comes on. its only when i turn the headlights on.

do you also have UDP's too. is there any other mods you might have forgotten to tell us?
ck for codes and ck the output voltage of the alt. with engine running

i have a cold air intake but it never did that it started when i got the HID put in could you help me on how to ck the alternator im a noob

The Sensor could be bad ??? Have you cleaned it ???

i have a cold air intake but it never did that it started when i got the HID put in could you help me on how to ck the alternator im a noob

Connect volt meter red lead to positive and black lead to negative posts on battery. With engine running voltmeter should read about 14.5vdc

i did a test and got codes

33 left front ABS sensor continuity fault

61 pump motor/pump motor relay fault

but why would this cause the abs to come on when i turn on the lights?

how did you run the test? did you have to buy a scanner? i have the same thing going on with mine. it seems to do it just after I roll a few feet it comes on and doesn't go off til i shut off the car.

yeah a vid is always helpful.. if it's easier email it to me. no i don't have h.i.d.'s but i want them something bad. just need a set of good headlights to put them in. what temp are yours? send a pic lol let me know how ya like them and what brand they are.

yeah whats your email? i had to get some new ones too but now i need to learn how to align them before i blind someone lol mine are 9500 and i have fog lights one too the car loooks amazingly beautiful turns heads like crazy everybody. get both headlights and fogs if you get just head lights theyll look too too bright for the fogs. idk the brand goot the lights from a detailing shop for like 225 with them installed too. make sure you get the whole kit complete or youll fry your wires

yea ive thought about that lol!!! thats the only reason why i asked cuz its annoying.. i dont care about abs since i track my car...

try undoing the battery for a full 24hrs then see if it comes on again im trying it and ill see if mine still come on because i had the car recently repair and took everything off

try undoing the battery for a full 24hrs then see if it comes on again im trying it and ill see if mine still come on because i had the car recently repair and took everything off

yea well let me know if that works for ya!! i dont know when i'll be ale to disconnect my battery for that long lol.. but let me know.. otherwise i may just pull the light out

Mine came on solid that way no codes been that way for a while decided one weekend to trouble shoot it I started taking cables loose at the unit and found them full of water with the termanls corroded I bought some deoxit at radio shack and a can of electrical cleaner but I haven't had the time or good weather to clean it yet.
