Any line can be removed from the A/C system
If it can, ill give it a try. I just find it off since the previous lines I removed didn't have an orifice tube.Any line can be removed from the A/C system
You won’t. It’s made in to the line. You’ll have to replace the whole line to replace the orifice.I had some time today to disconnect my lines and I don't see an orifice tube anywhere.
Oh no, okay so which line is the one that has it?You won’t. It’s made in to the line. You’ll have to replace the whole line to replace the orifice.
Oh no, okay so which line is the one that has it?
Oh okay, ill check that out in the morning. Btw I forgot to mention that I blasted some compressed air thru one side and not so much came out from the other side of that hose.
Right, that’s because of the orifice.Oh okay, ill check that out in the morning. Btw I forgot to mention that I blasted some compressed air thru one side and not so much came out from the other side of that hose.
That's the one that usually has that foam insulating piece on it where it touches the framerail? Runs on bottom real close to the header primaries? The one that runs on passenger side
From accumulator to condincer
If It dose not have one
Mabe a previous owner removed it
Yeah mine was new and it came prefilled with 7 ounces of oil.If it’s a new or rebuilt compressor they usually come prefilled with pag oil so he should be good there. Plus it would be very noisy. The system would probably grenade itself in short order without oil.
What’s the low side showing?Yeah mine was new and it came prefilled with 7 ounces of oil.
I swapped the line that had the orifice tube and it still shows no pressure on the high side at all. I think the condenser may be clogged.
Ah I forgot to mention that.Is that reading with the compressor engaged? That looks like static pressure which shows you nothing. You need to jump the compressor from the pressure switch then take a reading.
