Clean car even after being wrecked. I wish i knew how to attach pics id show you guys my car when i bought it wrecked, and after i wrecked it in the rain after fixing it.

Im surprised about USAA. THey told me that I had to take it to a specific shop for them to pay the shop directly, however I could go to their specific consultant to have an estimate, then take that amount to whomever I choose.

the insurance person would give an estimate for you? maze and usaa are partners so they didn't send out an insurance person to estimate it, they had maze do it since they were a "reputable company"

They told me they would only take an estimate from maze and that i could take it somewhere else but they wouldn't pay for it to be fixed there

The partner shop around here is called Taylors. They told me to have it fixed there, however if I chose to go to my own place, they would only pay as much as taylors charged. The check would be cut to me instead of the body shop

Yeah I'm on a little exercise regiment, and I need to go to physical therapy for about the next three month's. Pretty lame, but we will be going after damages, and while I'm not the type of guy who thinks I should get a powerball type settlement from this, I do feel I am entitled to something. I have missed a fair amount of work so far, due to not being able sit in the chair for all that long. Thank god I don't do any heavy lifting anymore. I'm mainly concerned about the medical, I'm at about 60-65% right now.

The main thing I try to bear in mind is that it WAS and accident. Someone either waved the guy through, or he just didn't see me, either way it could have easily happened the other way around.
