Adding keyless entry??

I was poking around here and found out where to look for the "anti-theft box" in the drivers quarter for keyless entry.As MY luck would have it this is the first Ford I have owned that DOESNT have heyless.I did however,notice that there is a plug hanging ther next to the bracket.My question is,does this mean that if I happen to get a box out of a keyless equipped car that I could plug it in here and grab a remote, that I could add keyless to my car?It might be a shot in the dark,but for an old fart who's used to Turbo Coupes and Crown Vics with keyless and auto headlights and locks and such I thought it at least be worth a try.Thanx!

i would think that the car is prewired for it and you should be able to just buy the module and a remote, but i think it would be better and easier to just go buy an aftermarket alarm system
