erhmmmmmm idk off the top of my head i'd have to look at it ttocs. I think it's an issue in the circuit board because only the tach and water temp gauges lose their numbers.

Are they on the same board for it to be a common issue between them? I ask about the ground because while whip and I were on fb chatting to help him with his install I gave him an FYI about the ground. Whip was/is going to ground his gauges to a piece of metal in the dash rather then the ground wire in the hrs. would recommend tapping the chassis for ground myself rather then the hrns as you can sometimes run into some funny issues with stock ground wires. So while he was going to the chassis he showed me where he was going to ground it and it was a piece of the underdash that I have used myself a number of times. Now the only concern with grounding to the underdash is that it is bolted to the chassis, not welded. Of course it has to come out for heater core swaps and if it isn't bolted up nice and tight, or if after some time the area's corrode and cause issues with having a good clean ground. Small ground issues like this could be causing your problems since it I a common point between the gauges If they are not on the same board as I would assume. If I were you I would recommend tracing your grounds and removing/cleaning/retightening them or even moving them to a better ground location. If its a circuit board problem those are generally easy to test for by simply thumping it with your fingers/knucles a couple of times.
