I've not installed specifically a complete Aeromotive kit (like buy and install sort of thing) but I've designed and installed a bunch of fuel systems. Doesn't the system come with specific instructions on placement of both the y-block and the FPR?

no, i doesnt give you a place to put them. it says" find a suitable mounting location" for the fpr and y block.

not a sn car but I have my regulator on my passenger side shock tower.

Are you feeding both rails from the front? what are you trying to do with the Y?

Are'nt instructions like that so helpful, its like paying a lawyer a fortune for legal advice and then they turn round and say "well what do you think? "

i've always liked instruction like in a haynes manual etc whereas step 1 is:

remove engine.....

I've put my regulator on the strut tower too before. Your y-block can be anywhere it fits conveniently, like just inside the engine bay, or near the rails. There is some flexibility to the fuel system.

yae, I love those type of instructions. the way it was pictured I was gonna feed from the rear and out the front to the regulator. i was thinking of mounting the regulator on middle of the pass side strut tower towards the top about where that plastic holder for the two stock fuel lines is. does it matter what side you feed the rails from? was probably gonna use the lower port on the driver side for more clearance fro the dizy

i would feed the rails with -8 and for the return use -6
