Airbag question...

just wondering about how legal it is to remove them from your car? should i check with someone who does inspections in my state? is it legal, if you drive it often? just curious and sorry if this is the wrong section.

to reduce weight... and i beleive on race cars tehy become more of a hazard than a safety feature... get pushed forward at 130 MPH when you run into the drag wall, just to get hit in the face at 200 mph? thats 330 mphs of fury!

but im not 100% sure...

anyways, i beleive its 100% legal here in colorado.... i have a bunch of friends who have done it.

take em out and put the covers back on, who will know besides you, well you and all us but we dont care

if youre doing it to just ditch weight they only weigh a few pounds, but then again for me if it weighs even just a pound ill take it, a lot of little pound things add up

it probably will, if its not there the car probably reads it as if it went off and needs replaced, but you can have it turned off just like the check engine light
