Does anyone here know if this is the alarm box from what I see it seems to be. I would like to remove it because its causing problems. The previous owner did a hack job on the wiring so I'm trying to eliminate things.

I would say yes but it is hard to tell with out seeing the brand.

Taking alarms out is much much much easier then putting them in. The only part that you need to be concerned with is the door locks and maybe the starter kill. Disconnect the harness from the box and see if the locks still work and if it starts, as well as if your problems go away.

I found a box in my trunk when I was gutting everything. It says alarm box or something? I'll take a picture...

that is where the flux capacitor mounts, if you got that option but from what I understand it is VERY rare.
