LAWYER UP! When my car was rearended, they tried to total it and give me $6000. I told him he needs to keep counting because I can point out over $7K in bolt on aftermarket parts, not including labor.
They decided to fix my car, and he made the dicision real fast! Not sure about your state, but in SC, they have to pay for any aftermarket or upgrades bolted onto your car.
