honestly this probably sounds corny... But I've been fantasizing my future 'Stang. I can imagine hitting my remote start in the dead of winter and hearing that loud ass exhaust fire up from inside the house. I never had a remote start before and every winter I wish I had one. I want to get a viper alarm for it, and of course a radar detector

Thanks. Here's some mods that I gathered that I want to do: (critique welcome)

3.73 gears
whatever intake (prolly doesn't make much difference does it)
same with exhaust, most likely just catles with long tubes, only a couple mufflers at the back
Chrome saleen 5 spoke wheels / or possible xxr 535
eibach lowering springs? 1.5" maybe
mach 1 lip / grill delete / raxiom black halo headlights / tinted tails
Bama flash tuner
comp cams xe270ah w/ springs (degreeing as well??)
-clutch undecided-
OEM PI IM (if the car comes with aftermarket dorman installed)
Short shifter of some sort
-injectors?? -
950hp shot of nitrous

Not a fan of the 2v but sounds like a pretty solid plan.. Look into mid length headers more clearance than long tubes.

Effing yes black tails are great on a all black car. And those halos look more modern than the stock equipment which prolly has uv fade

I don't like tinted lights, but that's whatever.
Halos are 100% nasty. Get some nice retrofitted projectors if you want, but no halos. That's the first thing I did on my 04 is remove the nasty halo lights and put the stock ones back in.
Meh on bama tunes, get a local dyno tune.

And about the Bama thing: I just want to have a simple plug and play tuner to adjust for gears or other mods. If I could tune it myself with some software on a laptop I rather do that than pay somebody else. I already have experience with dsmlink, ecuflash, and t5 suite.

My findings with ecu tuning....look to megasquirt for a total experience. Look to Moates Quarter horse for a piggy back type set up with tune on the fly.

SCT owns you. That means using their product, they steal your tunes

Can someone help me? Does this car look okay? Is the price fair?

I can't find a nice black '04 but this '02 looks perfect to me. It already has the Cobra bumper, wing delete and Saleen wheels, that's the exact combo I was planning on doing so that's a time saver. Clearly has some sort of exhaust system, the tips are big so I'd guess it's a Borla catback.

The rear bumper looks like it's losing clear coat? Is that just me? Maybe it's the reflection or something I don't know. I know Orange94 had a wrecked rear bumper it seems to be a common issue? Not a big deal I can get it painted if so. It's about a 40 minute drive from me so I definitely want to check it out.

Another thing I spotted: the hood and fender don't line up perfectly. I'm pretty sure Ford from the factory was pretty okay about panel gaps. So that might suggest it has been hit or the hood has been taken off for whatever reason and not aligned properly afterwards.

I'll be going to look at this car tomorrow or wednesday maybe. I'm told it's on coilovers, has long tubes, new clutch and accel coil packs. I'm also told the paint isn't in too great a shape.
